Recently, Lianyungang City has issued a three-year action plan for improving the ecological environment of the chemical park.
The plan requires that a world-class environmental protection standard system for the Lianyungang Petrochemical Industrial Base will be completed within this year, and the implementation will be initiated by professional institutions; by the first half of 2021, the outstanding problems in the park will be fully rectified and improved, and the ecological impact of the refining and chemical project will be completed. All the commitments of the Ministry of Environment; By the first half of 2022, it will become a demonstration benchmark for domestic chemical parks in terms of major environmental protection projects, VOCs management and control, and circular economy development in the park; by the end of 2022, focus on building an upgraded version of the national ecological industrial demonstration park. Create a national green chemical park, “green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains” practical innovation base, etc.; by 2023, Lianyungang petrochemical industrial base will rank among the top 3 in the “Top 30 chemical parks in China” and the first in the province’s chemical parks. Build a world-class petrochemical industry base with international competitiveness and become a benchmark for the ecological environment of domestic chemical parks.
